Member Benefits: CDHA Activities
Promote Awareness of Environmental Issues
- Attend City Council Meetings regarding approval of additional Platt's to County Downs.
- Obtain diagrams and plans for long-range County Downs development showing road and connections to adjacent areas.
Community Projects
- Provide and update County Downs Homeowner's Association Directory.
- Obtain City Council approval for activities that utilize right-of-way property.
- Installation and maintenance of sprinkler system.
- Maintenance and beautification of common areas within County Downs.
Social Events
- Annual Christmas Party at the home of a Homeowners Association member.
- Annual Homeowners Labor Day Picnic in County Downs.
- Other social activities as requested/suggested by Homeowners.
Other Activities
- Hospitality Committee: Sends cards and/or flowers to association members who are sick or have a recent death in the family.
- Crime Prevention Committee: Liaison with the Montgomery Police Department regarding crime in or adjacent to County Downs.
- Decoration Committee: Decorates the front gate for the Christmas season.
- Yard-of-the-Month: The best-groomed yard each month and best-decorated yard for the Holiday Season is recognized.
- Block Captains: Help administer Association activities.
Finance Activities
- Deposit of membership dues.
- Payment of routine bills (electricity; water; maintenance of areas, etc.)
- Preparation and dissemination of monthly statements and yearly financial report.

- Promote pride in the community,
- Encourage residents to join the Association,
- Provide information to the membership about CDHA activities,
- Introduce neighbor to neighbor,
- Offer information and promote businesses owned or managed by Association members,
- And, furnish information of interest to prospective new residents.
